Cob

Cob is mass earth made of clay sub soil, straw and water, which is traditionally built in layers. It is a method of building originating in the south west of England and is now experiencing a revival

Rammed Earth

...or Pise as it is known in France, is a fairly dry mix rammed between shuttering to create walls and is used world wide.

Adobe

A mud brick formed in a mould and dried. It is used widely for construction throughout the world including New Mexico, Australia, Africa and the Middle East.
